Strauss Diamond multi use burs are manufactured in our facility in Israel providing enhanced quality. Each bur is hand checked to ensure 100% quality control. Each package is identified with bur number, grit size and includes 6 per pack.

Introducing the new Occlusinator System, developed and patented by Dr. Patrick Roetzer. The “System” includes a 4-in-1 hand instrument, the PPS (Posterior, Packer, Sculptor), that shares a design with a set of sculpting / finishing / polishing diamond burs.

The PPS allows the clinician to QUICKLY adapt the composite to the occlusal surface, establish primary anatomy, and finish and polish LESS excess composite without nicking the enamel.

Create superior anatomical features for composites in less time with the four – in – one instrument, and better occlusal contours reduce post-cure cutting for stronger restorations.

Two rounded pluggers on one end; 0.8 mm diameter for tight box only and fissurotomy preps and 1.5 mm for standard sized Class 1 and 2 preparations.

After a 10% overfill, the robust Ball Burnisher smooths the composite into grooves and matrices and the 21B Acorn Burnisher perfectly matches the cuspal angle to create the anatomy of all posterior teeth.

Occlusinator PRO diamond burs make sculpting and polishing of composite efficient, consistent and accurate….almost “robotic”.  These burs evolved from Dr Roetzer’s  RAPTOR burs from the 1990s.

Utilizing the same angulation as the cuspal inclines and matching PPS acorn, this “prescriptive” system pairs the restoration size with that of the cutting and polishing zones.

Acorn burs have a diamond-free safe edge/limit stop and Xmas Trees have a diamond-free safe zone, which can contact enamel without scarring or nicking. The limit-stop prevents sculpting too deeply.

Finish without scarring enamel.

It includes 3 sizes of the “Acorn” shape burs, also modeled after the famous 21B Acorn burnisher; which has the perfect 97⁰ angle as the occlusal surface of posterior teeth. These have 50 micron particles for effective reduction, and a peripheral safe-edge; to prevent damage to the enamel as well as over-sculpting.

Polish without further discs or tips

Also included are two “X-Mas Trees”, which are the same size and have 15-micron diamond particles for a good final polish. The difference between the two is that one has 80% of the surface covered with the abrasive, and the other has only 50%. The diamond-free safe-zone allows easy finishing of occlusal and Class V restorations with minimal risk of scratching precious enamel.

The laser-printed bur block provides reorder numbers for each of the 5 burs.
